During this tutorial, we are going to take a look at “How to add blocks to build a post within WordPress“. We covered what a WordPress Block Editor was here if you feel you need a recap.

It’s a simple process to add a Block to your post. Start with a “new post” from your WordPress dashboard and enter your post title.

When it is time to write your post content, you can insert a block by clicking on the plus button, pick a particular one you’d like to use and then enter a paragraph, very similar to what we learnt last week with the Columns Blocks.

“Each block has it’s own settings you can change, which are in the right menu bar.” and “You can preview the changes you made by clicking the Preview button”, according to uk.godaddy.com

After you have finished a paragraph, when you press enter you will get new spaces to enter new blocks, all you have to do is click on the plus button to add another one.

Once you are finished, and you’re happy to publish your new post, click the “Publish” button or “Schedule” to schedule your post for a future date.
