During this tutorial, we are going to look at the “WordPress – Writing Settings” with a step-by-step video.
Open up your WordPress dashboard, select Settings (as previously shown in my article here), and then select Writing.
From here you will find a lisst of Settings which you can edit, these are as following:
- Default Post Category,
- Default Post Format,
- Default Editor for all users – classic editor or block editor
- Allow users to switch editors – yes or no
- Post via Email
- Mail Server
- Login Name
- Password
- Default Mail Category
- Update Services – When you publish a new post, WordPress automatically notifies the following site update services
Once you have finished with updating/editing, click on the Save Changes button, to save any changes you have made.
