Glastonbury is a market town and civil parish in Somerset, home to around 9,000 people and one of the most recognisable names in the UK. Famous worldwide for the Glastonbury Festival — held annually at Worthy Farm in nearby Pilton — the town itself has an identity entirely its own: the ruins of Glastonbury Abbey, the iconic Glastonbury Tor rising from the Somerset Levels, and a High Street lined almost entirely with independent businesses.

The business community here is genuinely unlike anywhere else in Somerset. Alongside the crystal shops and spiritual bookstores that draw visitors from across the country, you'll find therapists and counsellors, holistic health practitioners, yoga and meditation teachers, artisan food producers, festival suppliers, local tradespeople, independent cafes, and a growing number of creative freelancers. Many are self-employed or running small operations — and most are too busy doing what they're good at to spend time worrying about their website.
