Mentoring, Workshops & Speaking
Unitefulness — Julie Thompson
Julie brings a self-empowerment programme through mentoring, workshops and speaking, built out of her own experience of going from a corporate IT career to starting again after redundancy. She needed a site that carried real warmth without tipping into anything clinical, somewhere her writing could sit alongside her sessions rather than being tucked away, and room for the testimonials from the people she has worked with. It’s a gentle, personal site that lets her speak in her own voice and gives people a way to reach her when they’re ready.

Seeing In The Dark - Esther Lohneis
Esther is a Glastonbury practitioner offering shamanic soul healing, a shamanic counselling package and psychic readings, drawing on eight years of shamanic training and ten years as a qualified counsellor. Three distinct services needed explaining without overwhelming anyone arriving for the first time, so each has its own page with room to describe the work properly, and her own story sits alongside them because people choosing this kind of work are really choosing the person. There’s a blog for her writing, space for workshops as she runs them, and a simple way to ask a question or book a session.
Psychotherapy Training & Practice
Clear Rising Consulting
Clear Rising works in depth psychology and the transpersonal, running a Level 5 diploma and CPD courses alongside therapy, supervision, business consultancy and community work. Four quite different audiences arrive at the same site, from trainees looking at a professional qualification to someone seeking therapy for themselves, so each route needed its own clear path in without the others getting in the way. There’s also a plain explanation of what depth psychology and the transpersonal actually mean, since it’s unfamiliar to most people arriving, and clients’ own words to show what the work feels like in practice.
Yoga Teacher, with online booking
Gentle Yoga with Thalia
Thalia teaches gentle yoga, yoga nidra and personal coaching, both in person and online, in a style built around meeting people where their body actually is. The site needed to carry that same unhurried feeling, so it opens with a free yoga nidra recording rather than a sales pitch, and gives her space to tell the story of the back injury that shaped how she teaches. Her students’ words sit alongside it, and there’s a straightforward way to book onto a class or a one-to-one session.
Heritage Regeneration Charity
Beckery Island Regeneration Trust
BIRT is a Glastonbury charity restoring the town’s historic industrial buildings, Baily’s Factory and Northover Mill, to create workspace and jobs for the local community. A project on this scale needed a site that could explain a long, complex undertaking to several audiences at once, from potential sponsors and tenants to residents who simply want to know what’s happening to a building they walk past. Each building has its own section, there’s a news area the Trust updates as the work progresses, and clear routes for anyone wanting to donate or get involved.
Organic Preserves, Online Shop
Hembridge Organics
Kerry makes award-winning organic jams, chutneys and preserves in Somerset, crafted from surplus and unloved produce. The site is a full online shop, so it needed to handle a seasonal range that changes through the year, personalised products where customers choose their own labels and photographs, and wholesale enquiries from shops, alongside the ordinary business of taking orders and payments. It’s built to be easy for her to run herself, adding new flavours and gift sets as the seasons turn, with the Christmas range appearing and disappearing without anyone needing to touch the code.

Astrology Readings
Simone Solaris — Soulful Astrology
Simone is an astrologer near Glastonbury, trained in psychological and traditional astrology, who offers readings around finances, career, relationships and soul searching. The site needed to introduce her properly, as much of her work rests on people trusting who she is and how she was trained, and to lay out the different readings clearly so someone can find the one that fits. It’s calm and unhurried, with her clients’ own words carrying a good deal of the weight, and a straightforward way to get in touch when someone feels ready.

Family Dairy, Somerset
Bruton Dairy
Bruton Dairy is a family-run Somerset dairy, processing traditional unhomogenised milk and cream from farms within ten miles of Bruton. Their story is genuinely part of what they sell, so the site gives proper room to how the dairy came about, the family who run it and their relationships with the local farms they buy from. Alongside that, there’s a straightforward explanation of what unhomogenised milk actually means, because it’s the question customers ask most, and clear pages for their products and the suppliers they work with.
